Account registration

• When you create an account we collect your full name, mobile number, email address, password, and, where relevant, unit or meter details and property information.

• If you act on behalf of a landlord, body corporate, or managing agent we may collect your role and organisation details.

Payment information

• Card and banking details are captured and processed by our payment gateway provider. GridAI does not store full card numbers or CVV codes on its systems.

• All communications between our servers and the payment gateway are encrypted.

• Purchases from third party providers may be subject to their own policies.

Metering and usage data

• Meter serial numbers, meter tokens, top-up history, tariff selections, consumption data, device identifiers, and technical logs necessary to deliver the service.

Support interactions

• Contact details and communications you submit via email, chat, phone, or support forms, along with metadata required to resolve your query.

Third party sources

• Where lawful and necessary, we may receive personal information from property owners, managing agents, body corporates, utilities, or other partners to onboard sites, validate occupancy, and perform billing.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT FROM YOUR DEVICE

• We do not access your contacts, media, or other personal content stored on your device.

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

• Directly from you when you register, buy tokens, use our services, or contact support.

• Automatically through our apps and website, which may use cookies or similar technologies provided by us or carefully selected service providers to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and enhance security. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

• To deliver prepaid sub-metering and vending services, including account management, issuing tokens, validating transactions, and resolving queries.
